oh Emily Rose

so i have four sisters. two older, two younger. (not to mention two lovely nieces) anyways, the two older im not so close to... the two younger i definitely am. anyways, my youngest is named Emily and she is a gem. we had movie night last night and she saw clueless for the first time. i dont know how you go about for 14 years without seeing clueless, but thats just me. anyways, she was helping me make a toga last night and i promise you i looked like a combimation between Grimmag from Mcdonalds, a people eater, and a purple sausage with gold trim. i think she might have wet herself a little from laughing so hard. she and ryan think that theyre real riots. anyways, we finally sorted it all out and it looks very cute now thank you very much, but i was thinking (assuming they dont already) have a siblings day. i think that theyre just as important as parents. i mean, she might not have conceived me or anything but she definitely makes my life WAY better. <3

all that is Bay 2 Breakers....

May, may easily be my favorite month of the year. not only is the weather a ten out of ten, but there is also a certain little (BIG) event called bay 2 breakers that takes place. i have been the last 4 years in a row. this sunday will make it five. what is bay 2 breakers? well for starters, it is a gigantic drunk fest in San Francisco. technically, it is a marathon, however, in all the years i have gone i have never run. go figure. anyways, its tonsssss of people getting dressed up to do a giant drunk walk. sounds simple enough, but it is so much MORE. there is beer pong to be played, beer bongs to be drank, and nakedness to behold. everyone wears uber creative costumes, and tote along kegs that match their costumes. ex: the first year i went we hung out with a group of guys in chefs attire that had blood on it. their keg was dressed up as a vat of chili with fake fingers on top of it. they were wendy's chili chefs. clever. a group of napoleon dynamites with their keg dressed up as a llama. or how about the groups that dress up as giant salmon and go through the race backwards. such a spectacle. i cant even wait. drunk twister on a mat that may or may not be covered in std's (according to mark) a different year there was a group of guy who dressed up as "boobologists" they were in scrubs offering to give girls free mammograms. well they kept bugging this one girl and she kept saying no. finally, she must get so sick of them she pulls her boob out and starts SQUIRTING THEM WITH BREAST MILK. that memory will stick with me for life. it was priceless. anyways, im superrrr excited. im just sad a certain danielle wont be in attendance this time. on the plus side, we do have quite the amazing group. me, ryan, jackie, mark, matt, jessica, matt h, noah, whitney, sean, mark, and whoever else the drag along. woot woot to that.

changs, date nights, and birthdays

i had the longest week EVER. i had an essay due in speech, a test in sign language, and an essay and creative project for yoga. yes. YOGA. speaking of which, i think that project is going to make me have badkarma.com. so for my yoga class we were supposed to keep a journal all year. small catch though, we didnt have to turn in the yoga journal, we just had to write an essay on our yoga experience. obviously, i didnt keep a journal and i just bee essed my way through my paper. i pretended i kept a food journal. well, as my creative project i "made vegan cookies". if by make vegan cookies you mean have my sister make vegan cookies with EGGS, then yes. if i then fed those non-vegan cookies to my class and pretended that they were vegan that would also be a true statement. ooops. hopefully theres no one vegan in my yoga class... i also have my sign language final soon. 30 minute chit chat with my teacher. however, my teacher talks in class, and he can hear with a hearing aid, so i feel like i didnt really learn very much sign language. (the book by the way is a JOKE) me and danielle are taking asl 2 together next semester and im not so sure how great im going to do. it probably doesnt help that my teacher cancelled half of his classes because hes also a basketball coach for del campo. PERFECT.

anyways, i am so so so happy that the weekend is here. looking back i know last weekend i said i wouldnt be drinking this weekend, but things change sometimes. last weekend whitney and i were such donkeys at stage coach. shot gunning, lunging, sing languaging DONKEYS. you should have been there. we were dancing like wild banshees. it was a ten out of ten. i flew home monday morning and proceeded to drink myself into oblivion with my friend renee (who also doesnt know sign language) and my sister ashley. i might be captain at making things awkward for people might i add...

this weekend should be pretty stellar. its danielles berday. woot woot to being 23 miss! getting ready, pf changs, bars... sounds rough but im sure ill manage. then tomorrow i have to meet with a study group in the morning for speech, then do humanities homework, and then meet ryan halfway for date night... then i get to have another long week all over again.

on the flipside, i have lots of really great things to look forward to in may. tonight obviously. then miss emilys bday, ajs graduation, and last but not least BAY 2 BREAKERS. ahh!

yeeks. what a bunch of writing i just did. its apparent i get a lot of things done while im at work...
